So, guess who got the lead in the play, Anne of Green Gables?
MY kid. That’s right, my darling child is playing Anne.
This is HUGE. This is only her third major play, and she’s only ten, so we were really surprised to see her name at the top of the list. For her it’s a dream come true. For me, it’s a lot of freakin out and keeping it all bottled up so as not to freak her out. I have the utmost confidence in her, but it’s a lot of work. A LOT of work. But, she’s been waiting for a decent role for a long time, and she’s very excited.
So yeah, we’re pretty happy over here
